Annual Scholarship Awards

RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP I:

RCHS senior who plans on attending a two year college.  Preference is given to seniors with a record of community service and/or who plan to major in a public service field (e.g., health, teaching, police, fire).
Req: Questions #2 and #4

$1,000 per year for two years if the student carries at least 12 hours of classes.  Renewable. Renewal is contingent on maintaining a 2.0 GPA.   

RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP II:

RCHS senior who plans on going to a 4-year school.  Preference is given to seniors with a record of community service and/or who plan to major in a public service field (e.g., health, teaching, police, fire).
Req: Questions #2 and #4

$1,000 Scholarship 

RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY LIONS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP III:

RCHS senior who plans on becoming a skilled tradesperson and who plans to attend a technical school that provides professional certification.  Preference is given to seniors with a record of community service.  In special circumstances, this scholarship may be awarded to a senior while still in school.

QUESTION # 2 (about 250 words):  Describe yourself, your achievements, and/or your goals for future study and work.

QUESTION # 4 (about 125 words):  What community service activities have you performed/participated in while in high school and what plans do you have for continuing your community service during college?
